Terrence and the Thunder Boys, a country band, plays in the main Thunder Mesa square from time to time. Their songs are mainly classic folk songs, while "The Devil went down to Georgia" is rewritten as "The Devil went to Thunder Mesa," which tells the story of the curse of the town. (Black-Eye Bill is the Devil in the song.)
Western-style singing and dancing is found at the Golden Horseshoe.
Woody and Jessie are found in the area.
I’d like to read the lyrics for ‘the devil went to thunder mesa’
