Adventureland: Overview and Layout

OVERVIEW:
Humanity has always had a fascination with exploring the world around them. They've dreamed of seeing exotic places and unusual sights. Above all that, they've wanted one thing above others.....adventure.

This land gives people that feeling of adventure. Not only does the land offer a look at exotic places around the world, but it puts guests in the middle of adventures to those paces. From discovering their zodiac sign to a runaway safari to a voyage with pirates or a thrilling ride through a lost temple, this is where they can find these places.

Now, the locations of this Adventureland were made after much consideration. I wanted each one to have some link to Germany. The country once owned parts of Africa, so I put that there, as well as a port in China. Germany has their own set of pirates, so the Caribbean is referencing that. Central America is the only unconnected one, but it is there to compliment the others as a thrilling location.

With this park being in Europe, challenges are faced here. Due to colder weather and a more harsh climate, there can't be any water rides, so no Jungle Cruise. Since tropical plants may be unable to grow in Europe, several normal plants are around the area, trying to create the illusion that guests are in the jungle. The design of each area is made to withstand the weather.

In short, this is a bit different from previous variants of the land, but it's still as exciting as them.

OVERVIEW:
There are four areas to this land, each one recreating an exotic place. When guests walk in from the hub, they enter a traditional Chinese village. This is a concept previously unknown in Adventurelands that I am introducing. In the center is a circular garden with the twelve signs of the Chinese Zodiac.

Going west, guests enter an African area, mainly inspired by Kenya and Tanzania. The main attraction here is Jungle Mountain, a roller coaster on an island in the center of the land. North of the loading area of that ride is a large theater where Festival of the Lion King plays.

In the northwest corner of the park is a Central American area, mainly inspired by Guatemala, Belize, and Southern Mexico. In the northern part of the area is a place where guests can explore Mayan ruins. Nearby is a Mayan pyramid, the Temple of the Black Mirror.

Last but not least is a Caribbean-inspired area. This area has a lagoon in the center where a pirate ship floats. In the northernmost part of the land is Pirates of the Caribbean, while to the left of it are some exploration trails and the Swiss Family Treehouse.
